About the Conference

The institute of information technology and telecommunication of the North-Caucasus Federal University in cooperation with the La Sapienza University of Rome from 15 to 20 October will host a Multidisciplinary Symposium on ICT Research in Russian Federation and Europe on "Integrating Research Agendas and Devising Joint Challenges""

The terms of participation

To participate in the symposium are invited masters, graduate students, scientists work with issues in IT-technologies. The symposium accepts original, previously unreleased material.

Preliminary symposium program

Papers will be 15 minutes total (12 mins talk + 3 mins Q&A, basically only 1 questions)
Invited papers will be 30 minutes total (25 + Q&A)


The works publication


All articles successfully reviewed and accepted for participation in the symposium will be published in the CEUR Workshop Proceedings with indexing in the Scopus database and in the Russian Scientific Citation Index (RSCI).

Registration fees

  • for participants - 250 Euro

Registration fee includes:

    Transfer from the airport to Stavropol and back
  • 1 publication in the symposium
  • participation in the plenary and section sessions
  • A set of handouts
  • coffee-breaks and a friendly dinner during the symposium in Stavropol
  • Excursion service in the city of Stavropol
  • training of participants in the distance and full-time training in the IT-skills development program (36 hours) with the issuance of state-recognized certificates (in Russian) and certificates of the University of Rome in La Sapienza (in English).

Requisites for payment of the organizational fee and payment methods will be notified to the participants after the successful review of the article.

Deadlines

Submission

Acceptance of articles and their review by renowned Russian and foreign scientists will be organized in June 2018. The proceedings, if accepted, will be published by CEUR Workshop Proceedings Please in the page refer to this for the templates. Only papers in English will be accepted. Papers should be formatted in Springer LNCS format.

The title page must contain a short abstract and a classification of the topics covered (three to five keywords characterizing the paper should be indicated at the end of the abstract), preferably using the list of conference's topics.

Please upload a self-contained PDF file. Submissions not conforming to the LNCS format or being obviously out of the scope of the symposium, will be rejected without review. In order to submit your paper, you will first need to register into the Easy Chair system, if you are not registered already. You may submit an abstract first and upload the actual paper at a later time (this is in fact strongly recommended). Furthermore, you may revise your submission any number of times before the deadline.
